Built to the tightest tolerances for peak performance rivaling and sometimes surpassing handloads in many guns. XTP Bullets feature a performance-improved point that has 6 precise folds to divide the bullet into symmetrical sections and initiate controlled expansion at low velocities while not fragmenting at higher velocities. They expand reliably at a wide range of velocities for a deep, terminal penetration with every shot. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

Fired a string of 25 rds through a Glock 27, average over the chrony was an astonishing 1386 fps!! 100% reliable and extremely accurate. I have since purchased, and tested more out of my G23, gained approximately 90 fps over the 27. I am truly impressed with this round. Thank you Kevin Underwood!!!
1630 fps in 16" barrel
Samuel Grove (Spokane, WA) 3/11/2014 9:14 AM
I recorded the following 5 shot averages at 15 feet using a ProChrono rounded to nearest 5ft. 16" Kel Tec Sub2000 1630 fps for 914 ftlbs 6" Glock G24 1445 fps for 719 ftlbs 5.3" Glock G35 1405 fps for 679 ftlbs 3.5" Glock G27 1300 fps for 582 ftlbs 3.1" Kahr PM40 1285 fps for 568 ftlbs These were too powerful for me to control the Kahr (18 ounce gun) and caused FTEs and FTFs after the first 2 rounds. For deeper penetration and more energy, past 60yrds in a 16" gun and about 25yrds in a handgun, buy these 155gr over the 135gr.
Failure to feed - Glock 27
Michael Moss (Hawthorne, CA) 3/8/2014 11:20 PM
I have gotten consistent failure to feed problems one several different weights of Underwood 40 SW ammo. I replaced the main spring and also magazine springs on the gun. I even bought new magazines to no avail. I get an FTF every 2nd or 3rd round. The good news is once it fires, it's very accurate.
Hot, Fast, and High Quality
Andrew Miller (Crystal City, MO) 12/18/2013 8:27 AM
I had converted my Glock 23 to .357 sig to get a high energy & velocity round. However, after finding this ammo in .40 here I can no longer justify using the .357 sig instead of this. This is as fast, as energetic, and in a heavier and bigger round. This stuff is GREAT. This is the way .40 s&w was meant to be. AND it's a great price!
40sw 155gr xtp
Ted S. (burnsville, NC) 3/8/2013 11:11 AM
I was low on 40sw hp ammo and desided to try some of underwoods ammo. I ordered 4 box's of there 155gr"+P" xtp rated at 1300fps. My pistol is a Kahr TP40, 4" barrel. I was very suprised to see a 4" barrel fire 10 rounds to an average fps of 1310fps. Great velocity guys. Recoil is know more to me than slower ammo . Accuracy seems to be on par with others too. Way to go guys.
