Underwood Ammo’s XTP rounds are notable for their power and accuracy. We utilize Hornady’s eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) bullets which are designed for deep terminal penetration, great accuracy and controlled expansion. We combine Hornady’s unparalleled XTP bullets with our own carefully formulated design which results in one lethal round.
Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.
Until the development of the Ducta-Bright 7a process, nickel plating casings often limited the number of reloads as compared to raw brass. It was claimed that nickel plated brass casings “embrittled” the brass therefor making it less desirable for reloaders despite the ease of cleanup that nickel plating offers. In addition, ammunition engineers raising concerns of using nickel plating in “very hot” +P or magnum loads found that traditional nickel plating often cracked deep-drawn cases, or worse, lead to a total failure. This new process eliminates any concern, to the shooter or reloader, of hazard or ability to re-use the brass.
As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Had 2 ftf in two mags. Ran factory 10mm through it fine. Underwood was hotter. Replaced my mag Springs with wolff 10% power springs, fed the other half through it. 0 problems now. Still I'm annoyed I had to upgrade my mag springs. Overall the quality and power of the ammo is 5. But your weapon needs upgrades to run it. Hence my 3. Despite my problems this is now my edc.
200 gr XTP rocks

Functions flawlessly in my G20 w KKM barrel.
very accurate, standing at 25 yards 5 shot group<3 inches,10 yards it is one ragged little hole at point of aim. 10 shots chrono average 1272 fps. reassuring and very manageable recoil. It is my street and woods carry. Thank you Underwood for making Quality ammo at reasonable prices!

I've always liked heavy bullets but usually you give up Energy&Velocity, not so with these 200 grain bad boys they will take care of you on the street or in the woods both my G29 and G20 are loaded with these. No other maker I tried have had the Full power and reliability as Underwood ☆☆☆☆☆

Great ammo. Carry it in my Gen 4 Glock 20 when hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
Never tested it with the Glock factory RSA but SS guide rod and 22# recoil spring functioned 100%
Bravo to Underwood for loading the 10mm as it was intended to be loaded. No powder puff loads here.

Ran these through my G29 after installing a stronger recoil spring. This is my new carry ammo.
Finally; full 10mm power

Great to see that somebody is prepared to load calibers to their full potential. I bought a pack of 50 to run through my self defense weapons before I make a decision to adopt this as my carry load.
Recoil feels tolerable, just a much faster pulse than you you normally get. The Glock 20 experience was quite sedate, the recoil just coming straight back. but firing these through the shorter barrel of the Glock 29 produced noticeably louder reports and a spectacular fireball. Accuracy was excellent and reliability was 100% - no failure to feed, fire or eject.
I have found my new carry round. 200gr XTP bullet at 1250 (verified) is sure to make an impression if I am ever unlucky enough to have to use it...
Works perfectly in Glock 20

This ammo worked perfectly in my Glock 20. I don't have a chrono but you can definitely tell the difference between "normal" loads and these full power loads. This load makes my 20 a very competent woods gun! I just ordered 5 more boxes.
The best 10mm on the market!!

Just received my order of the 200gr. XTP JHP. Once again, Underwood continues to deliver!! The brass was in shiny and new, not old and dull. These were not sitting on a shelf in a warehouse somewhere. I took it out and as usual, it chronographed above advertised velocities (at 1300fps or more).
It`s great to see a manufacturer live up to what they advertise in both velocity and quality. The price is great, also.
If you desire your 10mm to live up to it`s full potential, this is the only ammo to use. Fantastic!! Thanks Underwood!!

I've not had a chance to shoot this ammo yet, so I can not speak to that. However service and shipping were 110%. I will be shopping here again!!
