Underwood Ammo’s XTP rounds are notable for their power and accuracy. We utilize Hornady’s eXtreme Terminal Performance (XTP) bullets which are designed for deep terminal penetration, great accuracy and controlled expansion. We combine Hornady’s unparalleled XTP bullets with our own carefully formulated design which results in one lethal round.
Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.
Until the development of the Ducta-Bright 7a process, nickel plating casings often limited the number of reloads as compared to raw brass. It was claimed that nickel plated brass casings “embrittled” the brass therefor making it less desirable for reloaders despite the ease of cleanup that nickel plating offers. In addition, ammunition engineers raising concerns of using nickel plating in “very hot” +P or magnum loads found that traditional nickel plating often cracked deep-drawn cases, or worse, lead to a total failure. This new process eliminates any concern, to the shooter or reloader, of hazard or ability to re-use the brass.
As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Why Buy Anything Else?
Posted by MuskyHunter_DEK on 30th Apr 2016
I only buy Underwood ammo in the 200 XTP and the 220 Hardcast. These two rounds are all you need to take care of any situation! The 220 has slightly more kick and a larger smoke cloud than the 200 XTP. 200 XTP is smooth, full-power, dependable, consistent, and very accurate with devastating penetration/expansion.
Great company, great service, great product, great value! Why buy anything else?

Very fast, accurate delivery! This round packs a punch! My Gen 4 Glock 29 handled this 200 XTP with ease! Underwood is now my go-to brand of 10 mm ammo!
Not for the faint of heart!

Hard hitting round. If your looking to knock something big and stubborn down with this it's your round. I would not shoot it out of a small pistol like a glock 29 or like my EAA compact polymer witness. Very hard to control and it hurts the hand. I took a 520 pound Black Bear in Northern AZ mountains with one shot out of my 6 inch all steel Rock Island 1911 10mm high cap. It picked him up and dropped him 5 feet backwards. He did not move afterm that. The slug had excellent expansion after being dug out by the taxidermist.
The quality of this ammo superior

I buy all my 10mm and 45 ACP self defense and hunting ammo from Underwood. There's no company out there that comes even close to matching them. Buffalo Bore is slightly weaker and far more expensive, and Double Tap doesn't come close to meeting their claimed velocities. And apparently their quality and inspection is horrible considering I got a box of ammo with a round that was seated so far down in the casing that a 45 looked like a 9mm. It is abundantly clear that Underwood takes great pride in their work and offers an untouchable product. You've got a customer for life in me. Thanks for all you do!
LOTS OF POWER

VERY CONSISTANT LOADS A WITH LOTS OF POWER. SHOT A DEER @ 30 YARDS AND DROPPED HER IN HER TRACKS. BEST AMMO IVE FOUND BY FAR.

Had 2 ftf in two mags. Ran factory 10mm through it fine. Underwood was hotter. Replaced my mag Springs with wolff 10% power springs, fed the other half through it. 0 problems now. Still I'm annoyed I had to upgrade my mag springs. Overall the quality and power of the ammo is 5. But your weapon needs upgrades to run it. Hence my 3. Despite my problems this is now my edc.
200 gr XTP rocks

Functions flawlessly in my G20 w KKM barrel.
very accurate, standing at 25 yards 5 shot group<3 inches,10 yards it is one ragged little hole at point of aim. 10 shots chrono average 1272 fps. reassuring and very manageable recoil. It is my street and woods carry. Thank you Underwood for making Quality ammo at reasonable prices!
