Product Description

Underwood Ammo’s bonded rounds are unrivaled in power and precision. We utilize Speer bonded bullets which employ an exclusive Uni-Cor process where they bond the jacket to the core one molecule at a time. This essentially eliminates core-jacket separation, maximizes weight retention, and allows for unparalleled penetration and controlled yet fatal expansion.

As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.

Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading.  Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.

While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.

This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

  1. Price, Power and Performance 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Apr 2016

I tried to get Underwood to reveal their secret but they keep that information close to their vest. I as a reloader cannot achieve this level of performance. The 357 sig was designed to equal 357 mag performance but soon was neutered by ammo manufactures to the point of being a 9mm +P. Underwood has brought back the punch and done it with style. The recoil is mild out of my Glock 22 with conversion barrel, less than my 40 S&W from a Glock 23. The highly rated Gold Dot bullet easily penetrated a metal frying pan I used for a target and buried deep in the wood pile backing. I wish I did a more scientific test but I truly believe this performance will rank in the top 3 among ammo currently available. I ordered direct from Underwood and the prices are considerably lower than the other manufactures offerings. Save your time and money and get Underwood for your 357 Sig. So it's back to the drawing board for me to figure out how they do it.

  9. As a .357 Sig should be. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Feb 2016

Shooting this product from a Sig P250 SC with a compact magazine for a little extra grip.
Wow! very manageable even from a small platform, no blinding flash when I went low light. No shortage of power. the whole line was trying to figure out what that bang was coming from. I just smiled and pointed to the box.

  10. Mix them 5 Star Review

Posted by on 8th Feb 2016

I load my Glock 32 magazines with two of these, then one 115 grain X Penetrator, then two more of these, then another 115 X Penetrator, then two more of these ... Best mixture I could think of. I practice and will street shoot three shots and then a pause. Any arguments out there against this mix?
