Underwood Ammo’s bonded rounds are unrivaled in power and precision. We utilize Speer bonded bullets which employ an exclusive Uni-Cor process where they bond the jacket to the core one molecule at a time. This essentially eliminates core-jacket separation, maximizes weight retention, and allows for unparalleled penetration and controlled yet fatal expansion.
Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.
As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

For anyone who is "sitting on the fence", about Underwood ammo; Go ahead and jump off the fence, and buy some Underwood...
I have used just about every .45 acp factory load known to man in the past 40+ years, and I will say that this Underwood 230 grain +P with the excellent Speer Gold Dot bonded bullet is THE best!!
Speer & Underwood unbeatable......

The first thing you'll notice about these hollow points is the cavity and how deep it is. Try not to speak too loudly over them, you might just hear an echo. Very manageable recoil and accurate out of a G21 Gen4. With the superb Speer Gold Dot being propelled by Underwood blended powders, stuffed inside the Starline brass coated with Ducta bright 7a, I think the myth of the "magic bullet" has become a reality. This should be a "one & done" man stopper. Excellent product from Speer and Underwood!!
I will be ordering tons more.

1011 fps from a mil spec 1911. 945 fps from a 4" barrel Springfield Champion..
Accurate from both.

Shot out of my Gen4 G21. Softer recoil than 40s&w, punches holes through paper well no malfunctions from a newly bought pistol.

I have been using Speer 200gr +P in my Glock 21, but I wanted something with deeper penetration. This ammo fits the bill. One thing to remember, you must not limp wrist this ammo. I was at the end of a 200 round practice session and had a few failures to feed. When I tightened up my grip and concentrated this problem went away.

This ammo arrived quickly, was all extremely uniform. It chronographed an average of 1016 fps out of my XDS 4.0 with only a 3 fps spread, no factory ammo has been that consistent for me. It fed fired and ejected perfectly. Thanks Underwood!
