9mm Luger +P+ 147 Grain Bonded Jacket Hollow Point Box of 50
Underwood Ammo’s bonded rounds are unrivaled in power and precision. We utilize Speer bonded bullets which employ an exclusive Uni-Cor process where they bond the jacket to the core one molecule at a time. This essentially eliminates core-jacket separation, maximizes weight retention, and allows for unparalleled penetration and controlled yet fatal expansion.
As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

Excellent ammo, my P89 handles perfectly well, no more kick than standard ammo. Great job Underwood!
5 stars but use caution

I love underwood ammo but use caution when shooting this out of compact guns. Use for pistols rated for it only. Out of my lc9, (which is not rated for +p+) the pressure was so great that a small hole in the primer was blown out and created a nice plug in the firing pin channel, creating a failure to fire on the following round. The casing was ejected with enough speed to bruise the top of my head. I might try the underwood +p 147 grain as it is just slightly slower and my pistol is supposed to handle +p.

Wow! Sums it up about this load from Underwood Ammo. All the excellent reviews from TNoutdoors.com , Mr. Red Bull.com, etc. on youtube.com, and other intelligent also well educated reviews online about Underwood Ammo are Correct! I come from a lineage of scientists in my family. Physics intrigues me. This 147 grain +P+ Speer Gold Dot cartridge going 1175 FPS with Not much more recoil when compared to standard 9mm. loads, intrigues me! Kevin Underwood has figured out a way to evenly distribute , through simple physics, the felt recoil to where it is very manageable, balanced and allows the operator to get back on target quicker for fast, accurate follow up shots. I have done serious field testing on this load and it is the best 147 grain 9mm. load available at a great price to the civilian market. It is accurate, reliable, easy to handle, and produces awesomely devastating results in many types of mediums, especially ballistic gel. I trust my life with this ammo. Thank you Kevin and the entire Underwood family.

GREAT ammunition at an amazing price

I've only shot a few of these in my Glock 19 but so far so good. I shot a steel target and it fell down as if a heat-seeking missile had hit it, wow. There is a difference in felt recoil from the standard whitebox stuff you shoot at the range but it's not a considerable difference. You definitely know you're shooting something with a little more 'ooooomph.' I keep this for home defense and personal protection in my EDC. I highly recommend this load particularly if you have 4+ inch barrel. At the big box gun store 147gr Speer Gold Dots were almost $1.50 per shot, ouch. With shipping this was $.71 per shot and Underwood Ammo has more power behind it. You'd be crazy to buy the name brand when this load exists. I hope I never have to use this for any reason, but if I do I'm 100% confident it will exceed any other load on the market. I will buy more.

I shot 100 rounds through my Glock 34 with zero malfunctions . You definitely feel the difference, these 147 grain +p+ are very powerful and accuracy is top notch. These will be my EDC loads in my Glock 27. This load has more energy in a three or four in barrel than standard 147 JHPs in four inch barrel. Very pleased overall with Underwood Ammo great product and fast delivery. I will recommend to anyone who is serious about self defense.
