Underwood Ammo’s standard Jacketed Hollow Point rounds are unrivaled. We use Nosler bullets which feature a tapered copper alloy jacket which extends to the rim for increased feeding and reliability. These rounds are also characterized by a form-fitted pure lead core, which allows for reliable expansion and maximum accuracy.
As with all of Underwood Ammo’s rounds, we utilize flash suppressed powder so that your vision will not be compromised if it becomes necessary to use your firearm in low light.
Nickel plated casings with our new nickel plating process provides several key benefits, not limited to but including; improved feeding in all actions of firearms, enhanced corrosion resistance over traditional brass, improved cosmetics, and ease of cleanup during reloading. Nickel plated casings will not tarnish like brass during storage or when in contact with foreign materials such as leather, moisture, and other metals.
While taking advantage of our state of the art testing equipment, this high performance ammunition is field tested using popular, real firearms that our customers are most likely to own out in the real world with all the elements you would experience. If for some reason Underwood Ammunition fails to meet performance expectations, we stand by our product 100% and will make sure the customer is satisfied with every purchase.
This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases.

1240 FPS? Yes, the Colt handles it better than expected and worth it's namesake. Thank You Underwood, we'll do business again soon. Americans doing great things.
Truly elite for the Delta Elite

I purchase and regularly shoot various Underwood Ammo products mainly in 45 Super and 10 mm. I live in bear country here in North Idaho as well as commonly encountering moose and cougar. In fact just recently a cow moose chased my son and several of his buddies off the high school football field during practice. I really enjoy carrying my Delta elite and always have several magazines loaded with either the 140 Xreme penetrators and/or 200 grain XTP's for the woods and regularly for street carry, the 180 grain Delta Elite loads. The Delta Elite loads seem to be extremely accurate, feed flawlessly, and really rock a 70 pound block of Red Fir that I like to use for a target. When firing these loads you can really tell that they make the 10 mm what Colonel Cooper had envisioned it to be: a real powerhouse!!! Wow! What a confidence builder and a real pleasure to shoot!

there is no other ammo like Underwood. I don't even look @ other company's when it comes to ammo purchases, even though I'm getting into reloading again, I use Underwood brass from my purchases. they achieve better than advertised velocities on every round I've chrony'ed. and I have a G20 and Delta Elite and use the same ammo on both.

I took my Colt Delta Elite to the range for the first time yesterday, equipped with a new Bar-Sto barrel (supported) on the advice of Underwood. I used the Underwood JHP 180 gr/1240 fps, the FN 220 gr/1200 fps, the JHP 164 gr/1400 fps, and 2 other brands, all 20 rounds each. The Underwood ammo performed flawlessly, but I had 1 FTF w/ the other 2 brands. I rated Underwood w/ 4 stars, only because the sample size was small. But I intend to buy more, especially the 180 gr JHP, as I believe the ballistics to be suitable for home defense.
All the bang a DE can handle

SAFE high power round for the Delta Elite. I've had not so fun experiences with other full power rounds. These cycle perfectly and offer plenty of pop. No case bulging or other signs of problems.

I and my friends like this round, but while my friends like this one best, I am a little more partial to Underwood's 155 grain XTP in my two 10 MM guns, EAA Witness and Glock 29. I intended to buy a Colt Delta Elite to use this ammo in, sadly the seller kept his Elite, l

When I build pistol only the best parts will be used. And it will work 100% when needed. And I feel the same way about purchased ammo. That is why I depend on Underwood Ammo. I've been shooting for over 48 years. And have put alot of lead down range. I have burnt Underwood ammo in 9mm, 10mm, 38spec, 357 mag. 40 S&W, 45acp and 44 mag. And have not had a failure to fire yet.Quailty, Accurate and affordable. What else can I say. Underwood Ammo is whats happening.
I like this ammo for several reasons...

First, its worked great out of the Delta Elite. Second, this particular ammo works great with the stock setup on the Glock 29. I switched the recoil spring back to the original stock recoil setup and it worked fine with no failures. So if you wanted a reliable ammunition using the stock setup on the Glock 29, get this ammo (the felt recoil was mild).
